The Genesis Library is amazing, but should probably not be treated as trustworthy. I've definitely found malware in there before.

I can't recall which mirror it was. There was a javascript injection.

After that I started scanning files before opening them. I've had a pdf show up as infected, though it could well have been a false positive.
