PJ, you have chosen the worst possible place to look at, new energy times run by Steven Krivit it's not a reliable source, they are skeptopathic trash.



Anyway, I am going to concede that you will lose the bet, and I also will also somehow lose, this is why:



Industrial Heat has broken up with Rossi for one single reason: there is a new player in the market called Brilliant Light Power that has developed a working device for producing energy that could become a valid alternative to many other energy sources, in the long term, if it works.

Industrial Heat knew about this, in fact it was pretty public, everybody knew about it, but until recently it wasn't advanced enough to get to market (apparently it is, now).



When Industrial Heat took a bet on Rossi, they were hoping Rossi would deliver his LENR product in time, before Brilliant Light Power was ready to go with its product into the market.



This explains also why Woodford Investment put tens of millions in it: there was a bet based on some understanding of the product under development, but it was a bet: you can bet LONG on Gold but you don't know for sure if it will go up and make you money.



It appears Rossi did not make it in time, too much stuff still unresolved in its LENR reactor, while Brilliant Light Power managed to reach the finish line.



At that point, Industrial Heat realized that there was no more game, or anyway it was not worth it to put a 90M USD bet on Rossi to create a product against a competitor that is ready for market distribution. Maybe Industrial Heat thinks they can re-license Rossi's product at a lower fee going through a court lawsuit. Whatever, I don't care.



The only thing I care, at this point, is to see if the Brilliant Light Power product reaches the market and becomes a viable alternative to fossil fuels - if it does, a lot of portfolios will need to be readjusted and this was the origin of my question at the start of this thread, and the reason why I brought all this up.

And they are so totally different from that ex-con.
