i am not a big fan of anything uni-variate but i was mainly referring to the books, yes, indeed...

I'm curious as to why you say the Katsanos book has "nothing of substance" ?

lot's of blabla of the "market colour" and "oh, i have found a correlation that holds for my in-sample period" variety...



most people seem to share that view: nobody's wanted the books so they are going in to the bin!

Somehow, I ended up purchasing Katsanos book. I swear I thought someone recommended it here, but I must have been drunk at the time. It may be the most useless book on finance I own. Anyone wants it: mine's up for grabs also.
