Quant Finance Jobs in Geneva

Hi,

What has been the experience of people moving to Geneva/Switzerland for quant jobs recently?

1] Given Europe's lagging recovery, is the job environment stable and conducive to exciting quant work?

2] Which are some of the bigger units that may be willing to hire folks from out of region, and hire their visa etc?

3] Is English enough to get by?

There are almost no quant jobs in Geneva not talking about exciting ones. However if you find one and they find your expertise worthwile you might get hired and yes English gets you by, then learn French. Poly

I would definitely qualify Geneva as "non quant".

Zurich is probably your best call in Switzerland.
