Microwave in Europe

Haven't seen this mentioned on NP yet: this link is one of a couple posted by someone who has researched the microwave networks used between London & Frankfurt. He looked for info on where the towers are, who uses them, etc. Couple more articles on his website. Have quickly browsed through them and seems legit (well, he quotes themis trading somewhere, but the quality of the rest of the posting makes up for that Smiley ).

Can one of the French speeking NP-es have a look at his books? Writing something from the point of view of a trading algo is an interesting idea.

Well, IMHO it is kind of an overraction from your side.

I mean, take a look at the automotive industry. I have goood connections to R&D engineers there. There are hordes of journalists from car magazines and the yellow press hunting for the test drivers and their Erlkönige.

And sabotage? You already said: guys in the industry already have an good idea about the infrastructure. So if you want to act against your competition I don't think you need the blog.

Maybe some people from "occupy wall street" like organizations get "inspiration". Then well: like everybody else: you have to protect your infrastructure.

Hi there,

I am sniperinmahwah. I won't answer to all the comments but just to clarify:

1) These posts are the result of a 3-month investigation. I worked alone, I did everything alone (I am book publisher first, do you think I would copy someone else's work? That would be piracy…)

2) I I talked with a lot of people from the industry, I even talked a lot with the radio regulators. Do you think I could give all this data with a single source only?

3) 99% of the data is public. I just put the infos on a map, period. No voyeurism.

4) All the competitors, everyone in the industry know where the competitors are, no secret here

5) Occupy WS or other groups don't need my data to exist

6) That's weird, the Zones sensible website is working, I don't know why you could not access to it

7) I am in touch with Brad Katsuyama, I could ask Bard the name of his daughter but I don't care, we have more interesting discussions than that.
