Columbia Video Network

Post by pinstrypes »

I am trying to get some opinions on the Columbia Video Network's MS Methods in Finance program. I know that previously some members had posted that they had recently enrolled in the certificate program, and were happy so far. I was hoping to get an update.

I am interested in the MS program to facilitate my goal of moving from my back office financial analyst position at a mutual fund company to my companies Investment Management department.

Also, I would like some feedback from anyone on the forum who works in Headhunting/ HR. What is your take on a distance learning program?

Not a whole lot has changed since I last posted. I took the summer semester off and started the fall semester a couple of months ago. I'm taking Elementary Stochastic Processes. Its a taped lecture taught by Prof. Sigman. I like his teaching style as he's very engaging and has a way of cutting through jargon to express the core ideas clearly.
