What do you think of Bloomberg Credit Suisse Light Pool liquidity? Does this really defeat high speed traders, or this is just a scheme for Credit Suisse to dominate control the liquidity? Is this more fancy directed order flow?

I think we need more details. I'm not sure how they plan on differentiating between "good" HF flow and "bad" HF flow. It would suck for them if they end up penalizing HFT firms that are just adding

This article is probably very good PR not "news", why is the article only discussing features of the pool as if they did not do any research on the downside to such pools. And if policing "bad flow" is the answer why don't they do that in their existing pool Big Smile . Its only perception that matters. If the reporter actually talks to someone who has analyzed this kind of flow they will realize the percentage of natural crossing flow available in these pools is low. The rest as they say are "liquidity providing partners" which wouldn't be there if they stopped make money.
