Can I get the old toolbar back for Excel 2007?

Hi



I just installed the Office 2007 on a computer I bought the other day.



However, when opening Excel I was totally lost. I there any safe way of getting back the old trusted toolbars? I found an addin from Softpedia. Does it work and can you recommend it?

Never heard of the add inn. But it's no longer possible to easily modify the user interface by creating custom tool-bars. With the new Ribbon based user interface in Office 2007, user customization is severely curtailed. It's possible but complicated modifying the Ribbon. User customization is limited to the Quick Access Tool-bar or QAT. My solution so far has been to modify the QAT (easily done) for my macros (I have a smiley face).

Dudes, does this really work? I'm kind of sketchy on this kind of thing, because as soon as someone else at your work says "hey,I need to look at that file" you're in trouble. Since he/she needs to install that particular add in for the tool bar to work. IMHO anyways!

urr..when i open the .zip (before i unzip it)it says "this file has been abused by arabs from the middle east" . For some reason I can't upload a picture of it...
