Can anyone provide any info on the salary range for new entries, PhD level, in algorithmic trading (execution desks) in investement banks in UK ? (or elsewhere)
Also what's the expected salry progression. Is this area paid less or more compared to say derivatives pricing or alpha generation high frequency trading ?
