structuring at RBC

Hi,

Need some advice !

I currently work in a bulge bracket firm in a risk control role(with a role potentially opening up internally in structuring over the next couple of months). I have been offered a structuring position with the EQ/IR structuring group at RBC. Is it worth it to make the move to RBC from a Bulge Bracket in general?and more specifically does anyone know how reputed the EQ/IR structuring group is at RBC?

Can't be of much help wrt specific info about RBC's group (or the switch from BB), sorry.

If I were in your situation, I'd take the offer if the alternative was a potential offer for a potential opening that may/may not materialize at some point in the future.

fund derivatives US was a good place some time ago. Not sure now but I can check.

Trading wise they have hired good talent in NY - I'd go for it if that's the direction you want to go in...internal moves are a nice carrot to dangle but can't se too many materialising at the moment.
